FULL-TIME SUPPORT STAFF

Janet Eby
Full time Auction Manager
First employed in 1979, Janet oversees the "Kramer Krew", as our part time support staff is known. She is the one who sees that our auctions are ready come starting time. Janet coordinates packing, moving, set-up, and auction day activities and sometimes has to be available at sun-up or late-nights to see our auctions have that special Kramer & Kramer touch. Many times in the rain, the sun, the hot or the cold. An essential key employee who works full-time for our company, and is generally at every auction we conduct.

Debbie Kramer
Full time Corporate Bookkeeper
Debbie makes sure the bills are paid, our income is deposited, our clients receive their auction disbursals, the taxes are paid, the books balance and most importantly, the "Krew" and employees are paid on payday! Debbie keeps tract of client monies, outstanding purchases, unpaids, bad debts and all the corporate funds. An important task, all the time keeping a smile on her face. Debbie is John's wife, and like most Auctioneer's wives, fills in wherever needed, at any time, as well as being home for family.
ADDITIONAL AUCTIONEERS ON STAFF

Mike Dare

Apprentice Auctioneer
Mike graduated from Eaton High School in 2001, and received his auctioneer apprentice license in July of 2002. He will be serving a 12-month apprenticeship with Kramer & Kramer Inc. Auctioneers. This
will enable him to learn while working in the different areas of the business.

Wade Flory
"Auctioneer ~ Realtor"
A Realtor with our firm for 20 years, Wade is retired from Armco, and helps out where needed on the Auction Krew with auction day activities. An Auctioneer, occasionally Wade will handle some of the bid calling duties and he hosts many Open Houses for Real Estate Auctions. A resident of Germantown, Wade is the 2001 Montgomery County Fair Board President.
PART-TIME SUPPORT STAFF
We have 17 part-time staff, each of which work between 200-1,100 hours per year.

Marian Kramer
JR's wife and the original secretary of this firm

Marian did all the office management and advertising from the late fifties until 1978 when we moved uptown and she semi-retired in 1990. She now labels the auction mailing list, which usually has over 2,500 mailers every two weeks and still helps out on the Krew occasionally, as well as other support areas.

Eugene Ewing
Gene's experiences of 50 years for Wilson Hardware Store brings many skills to our Krew and he does just a little bit of everything for our firm. An employee since 1993, Gene mainly works packing, setup, moving and every aspect of auction day activities. Gene is JR's brother-in- law and resides in Eaton.

Janet Hawvermale
A relatively newcomer, Janet started in 1996 after she helped us set up her parents 5-day antique & collectible auction in Piqua, Ohio. A farmwife on a Farmersville dairy farm, Janet is also our expert on dolls. She is a 4-H advisor in Montgomery County and helps us in all aspects of auction setup.

Harold Geeting
Harold came to our firm in 1998 after retiring from the Preble County Soil and Water Conservation, as well as being a retired area farmer. Although Harold admits, "it is hard to keep his sanity while working with our Krew", they are all hard-working and jovial cut-ups who enjoy their jobs. Harold lives in Eaton.

Ralph Kramer
Uncle Ralph! JR's brother first helped in 1970 before he retired from being a Utica, Michigan 6th grade school teacher. Ralph worked with our original Krew of Marian, Pood, Martha, Katie and Bob. Our "Krew" has really grown! A graduate of Morehead State University, Ralph handles Open Houses and all aspects of Auction preparations. He is everyone's Uncle Ralph.

Carol Miley
Carol, an auction clerk since 1986, has mastered the changes required of our "Klerks" into the computer era. Carols says she is first a Homemaker & Mother and then a part-time clerk; but we can always count on her to clerk, pack, move, setup and tackle any duty we need from her. Carol resides in Eaton.

Gene Miley

Carol's husband and a retired farmer, Gene started in 1999 and nearly quit during his first outdoors auction assignment, as it was 35 degrees and pouring rain! But this army veteran stuck it out and helps in all aspects of auction preparation. Gene also helps part time with his son's construction business.

Ted Cornthwaite
A part time farmer, our firm sold Ted's family's dairy herd at public auction in the late eighties. Ted later came to work for us in 1990 and has been a faithful Krew Member every since. His farm and machinery background adds valuable skills to our team. Ted still lives on part of the family farm in Camden.

Dean Keller

A retired bricklayer of 43 years, Dean is moving into all aspects of auction preparation and auction day activities. An employee since 1999, Dean handles trucks, packing, moving and setup. Having been in business for himself, Dean understands the importance of attention to detail and timeliness

Bob Taylor

Another retired State worker living in Eaton, Bob first became a Krew member in 1999 and works all aspects of auctions including packing, moving, setup and auction day activities. Bob's woodworking background is helpful in setting up auctions with tools. He always keeps the guys talking to one another!

Larry showalter

Larry joined our crew in November 2002. He retired from Delphi Chassis (formerly Inland) after 39-plus years, and served in the National Guard for over
34 years. He's a hard worker and has quickly acclimated to the antics of our "Krew." When Larry isn't moving, packing or running at the auctions, he helps his
son-in-law with his mowing business. He also enjoys woodworking, skiing, and sports.

Nancy Ashworth
Our main Auction Clerk since 1990, Nancy has mastered the computer clerking system and oversees its operation, as well as working on the setup Krew. A former supervisor at Miami University, Nancy and her husband own "Kincaid Pines", a Christmas tree farm, on the family farm southwest of Eaton.

A Feathered Employee
This employee first came to our attention on October 3, 1990, which just happened to be John's 40th birthday. She not only attended the auction we were conducting, but she sang happy birthday to him as John was opening the auction. She then gave him a big red lipstick kiss, which he wore through out the entire auction. We hired Nancy on the spot!
